Dancehall producer Troyton wins gospel award

International dancehall producer Troy 'Troyton' Hinds of Troyton Music is now celebrating the success of his first gospel project, his EP Healing Project, which was named EP of the Year at the recent Sterling Gospel Music Awards.

The seven-track project was officially released last July and features artistes such as Jermaine Ewards, Alaine, Kevin Downswell, Chevelle Franklyn, Omari, Jesome, and Samuel Medas out of Guyana.

After he found out he had won the award, Troyton took to Instagram to extend his gratitude to each artiste who was featured on the project, including Pastor Ryan Mark, Paul Scott and his PR team, M.I.A Production.

"I am grateful and I want to thank God and everyone who supported this project. Big up to all radio DJs who never shy away from playing these songs, night amd day, not only on Sundays, but as any other reggae or dancehall project that I have done," said Troyton.

He is currently promoting his latest project titled Over Again, featuring Ne-Yo and Charly Black. The single is creating waves worldwide. It has already reached number one in several countries such as Vietnam, Swaziland, and Singapore.

"It's a humbling feeling when you can sit back and see your project doing great worldwide. This is purely a motivation to continue and put in the real work and extra promotion," said Troyton.
