Trelawny-based artiste Saviyon Demel Brown, aka Sav Lucky Star, is calling on the young men in society to be that 'superhero' for the nation's women.

The song Super Hero was inspired by Sav's disapproval of domestic abuse of women by men in Jamaica.

"In today's society, too many of our ladies are being abused by their husbands and spouses, and this needs to stop. So I hope this message will reach the psyche of our men who are hurting our ladies to desist from this unpleasant practice," he said. "We should be there for their every need, and as a protective figure, be their joy and not their nightmare," he said.

"The song has been doing well, and it offers an important message during this crisis. Most of my fans like the content, fully understanding the concept and even encouraging me that I should keep up the good work," he said.

Sav is also pushing the song Plan Fi Dis, which is produced by A.I.P. Records.
