Canadian singer Belee Kaur featured on ‘Tropical House’ album
Canadian-Indian singer Belee Kaur is excited about her feature on the Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica: The Asian Edition album, which is headlined by cricket superstar-turned-recording artiste Chris Gayle.
Belee's single, Fire Starter, features Grammy Award winner Jackie's Boy. Her feature on the project follows the commercial success of other singles in the international marketplace. Her singles I Believe and Stay Around (Remix), produced by Rathmuzik, entered the highly competitive dance chart of the UK and Belgium, and led her to become the first female Canadian-Indian to hit No. 5 and No. 35 on the charts. Belee strongly believes that "prayers can do miracles, and one should have the commitment of never giving up and keep moving forward".
She believes that her inclusion on this album will allow her to expand her musical reach.
"It is always exciting to be a part of a new genre, and Jamaica has always been a land of so many gifted and talented artistes. Being a part of this great nation will always be exciting for any artiste around the globe," she said.
Sean 'Contractor' Edwards and David 'DiPresident' Grant, the marketing experts of the project, believe in Belee's commitment to her passion and are certain that the singer-songwriter has a very bright future.
"Everyone is incredibly proud to see that Belee Kaur's hard work and commitment to create amazing music has paid off in such a spectacular way. It really is the type of thing that you do not want to miss, especially if you have been following this young star," her manager, Rathmuzik, said.
The project, which is scheduled for a September release, features several prominent artistes such as Lauryn Hill, Morgan Heritage, Jah Cure, Capleton and Jason Derulo.
