Dancehall artiste and social media influencer Horace 'LA' Lewis had his bail extended when he appeared before the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday.

Lewis, who is expected to return to court on November 16, is charged with two counts of toll evasion and two counts of forcible damage to toll road property.

The matter was put off when it was mentioned before senior parish court judge Desiree Alleyne, as the Clerk of Court revealed that the file is yet to be completed.

Lewis' appearance in court arose from an incident on April 30 along the Portmore leg of the Toll Road.

The accused is said to have driven through the toll gate without paying the required fees. The activities were posted online by the entertainer.

The matter was reported and an investigation led to Lewis being arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.

The self-proclaimed 'seven-star general' pleaded guilty to one count of toll evasion and was fined $10,000.

He is currently on $200,000 bail and is set to be tried for one count of toll evasion and two counts of forcible damage to toll road property after pleading not guilty to the charges.
