The Trelawny police have launched a probe into a reported robbery at the Falmouth-based law office of recently resigned Speaker of the House of Parliament Marrisa Dalrymple-Philbert.

It is reported that a female worker was robbed at gunpoint by a lone gunman who made off with cash, jewellery, and an electronic device. The woman was not harmed.
Efforts to get in touch with Darymple -Philbert failed as her telephone rang without an answer
Dalrymple-Philbert was a four term Member of Parliament for South Trelawny, but resigned today days after a ruling that she should be charged for making a false statement in a Statutory Declaration from 2015 to 2021 in relation to a Mercedes Benz motor vehicle.
The Integrity Commission said Dalrymple-Philibert omitted to include the vehicle in her Statutory Declarations, and, therefore, her declarations were inaccurate and incomplete.
