Teen charged with killing brother

Nineteen-year-old Lorenzo Williams of Stephenson Town, Seaview in St 

Elizabeth has been charged with murder and wounding with intent following an incident at his home on June 13. 

The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Travis Williams, brother of the accused. He is also accused of wounding his 43-year-old mother and 14-year-old brother. According to reports, at 12:30 a.m., family members were at home when an argument developed. Lorenzo Williams reportedly became enraged and used a machete to chop Travis all over the body; it is also alleged that he used the same machete to inflict chop wounds to his mother and younger brother as well. 

The police were called, and the injured persons were transported to the hospital for treatment; Travis was pronounced dead. Lorenzo Williams was held by citizens after the incident and handed over to the police. He was subsequently charged. His court date is being arranged.
