As people have been offering assistance to those directly affected by the coronavirus, Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling has joined in the relief effort.

The 25-year-old has partnered with Romeich Entertainment to provide care packages for 100 local families this week. Initially started by Romeich Entertainment owner Romeich Major, who assisted more than 50 families last week, Sterling, during an Instagram live steam, came on to lend resources to increase the number of families being supported in this endeavor. Major took to Instagram yesterday thanking Sterling for the support.

"Just wanna say big big thank you to @sterling7 for coming on my live and seeing the vision and put a big help towards my push to make families a bit happier in this time and can cook some food for at least a week or 2," he said. "So we gonna call it #+100sterlinghelpja. big up again and me want all a uno comment and big up @sterling7."

The collaborative effort has received positive feedback with more than 300 comments under the post congratulating the duo for their charitable deed.
